Celebrating Birmingham's Popular Music History
A superb shop on the corner of Bull St. and Corporation Street if I recall correctly. They stocked some of the more obscure rock stuff, especially in the basement – there was an import section.
This was my favourite place to visit in the 80’s as it had an amazing selection of hard to find Hi-Nrg & Italo Disco Imports from around the world.
The staff would play the 12″ singles and albums for you so you could sample before buying!
It was the music I purchased here, and played by Funky Dunc at The Powerhouse, that inspired me to go into the music biz myself 🙂
So many happy memories here and I still have all the vinyl I purchased there!
