Ex Captives Club

Situated on Hill St for a while, the Ex Captives Club (its name came from the fact it hosted ex servicemen) was known for it Jazz gigs in the 50s.

Adam and Eve

This pub located on Bradford St (now closed) has a long tradition of providing live music. From Jazz in the 50s to Dubstep in the 2000s, all types of music were catered for.

King Edward VII

Pub located on Lancaster Circus and noted for its Jazz gigs in the early 60s.

The Birmingham Arms

Situated at 1 Moet Row (near the Markets) The Birmingham Arms was known for its Friday night Jazz gigs.

Tony Collinge

Tony played in a number of bands in the 60s/70s and recorded at a number of studios and is still active in the music business today.
