was a regular at barbarella’s during the heady days of punk and saw so many bands that without that club probably would not have made it to brum. shopped a lot at bailey’s records in the market and don christie’s on ladypool road. best memories include seeing an end of tour gig by john martyn at the town hall where the roadies had put all his gear on the stage riser and halfway through he began to dissapear beloww stage, and the tubes in new street where a couple of really straight looking characters got up in front of me and left halfway through. next day those two got the band banned from playing in portsmouth!!!!
