I remember seeing Ten Years After at the factory one Saturday night. Bob (Robert) Plant was a friend of ours from when we followed him in the Tennessee Teens and he came over to us and asked if we fancied ‘roadying’ for him in his new band. “It’s the New Yardbirds with Jimmy Page” and we have an American tour lined up.
‘No thanks’ – we didn’t believe it – ‘American tour?’….
