Our research has the shop open between 1967-1974 but further investigation is underway.
I lived opposite the Poolway on the Meadway whilst growing up. Bought many records from that shop first being Queens Bohemian Rhapsody and bought my first ever Sex Pistols single there (God Save The Queen). I seem to remember it closed in the mid 70’s and became a Fishing Tackle shop of all things, aaarrrggghhhh!
