It’s odd to make any comment on a band you only saw play once. Then again, this could be an entirely different band (one of the big Goth bands supposedly started out with the name). Anyhow, I first met Simo when he was playing in some electronic two piece at the Barrel and I ran into him at various things over the years after that. Like I said, I only saw this band play once at some all-day gig at the Jug of Ale in their car park. Simo still had the keyboard out on the old ironing board and the fans big favourite was “Dobbin the Donkey”. Trouble is, I don’t remember enough about the gig. It’s years since I heard of Simo but then I don’t get around so much either.

Hi, I was the singer and keyboard player in Dog Food- mention of the ironing board as keyboard stand is positive identification. I don’t remember ever playing in a two piece electronic outfit ever though! Possibly this was someone else, called Simo, which to my knowledge I’ve never been called!
